Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra - Kiwi Kapers
Today 6 classes from our School (Tamaki Primary) went on a trip (finally), we were going to APO (Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra).
Before we went to the bus our class Room 8 read a pamphlet about what we were going to see, and we basically did some work about that like the vocabs and what the mean and something new we learnt about in the Pamphlet. We also had our quick morning tea for about 20 minutes.
We were then ready so we went to the hall and got into our groups and got on to the bus, half an hour passed and we were at our destination we trudged to the place called Aotea centre where the performance was going to start at it was quite an immense place, as we were walking through the area some ushers appeared and ushered us to our seats.
As we sat down we waited a few minutes until all the musicians sat down at their seats and the light started to fade away. The show began with some music by the composer named Rossini. I was gonna fall asleep but the song made me think that I was in the farm chasing my escaping animals!.
The first songs that were played were from a composer named Gioachino Rossini, He was one of the most famous composers.
They played a few more songs, it played nicely and there were even actors and actors acting on stage. It was fabulous, and it took pretty much an hour but I loved it. It was amazing.
Conclusion
This was the first time going to the orchestra and my experience was great. I loved the orchestra and I would love to go again. The story and history of music is definitely one of the best.
