PRO - AGREE/SUPPORT THE STATEMENT/USUALLY POSITIVE THINGS Lockdown should be lifted.  Statistics - ??% are double vaccinated already.  The goal of lockdown is to prevent the spread of covid, which can’t be achieved anymore.  EDUCATION Kids need to get back to school - they have missed 10 weeks of school now..  HEALTH  Social health - need to see people. People are going crazy!!! - mental health. During lockdown, rates of depression go up. FAMILY/FRIENDS/SOCIAL LIFE  Connect with family Having family over to celebrate birthdays. Have Christmas with your family! Implement curfew e.g. 8pm at night.  Implement limits eg. 10 people meeting at a time.  EXERCISE Run around your block with No Interruption? Play sports Team sports for children and adults  SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Lockdown should be lifted cuz people can just stay 2 meters away and wear masks. LOCKDOWN LIFE IS HARD Have food with no line - time consuming and frustrating.  It feels like a year to get inside. Lockdown should be lifted, so people can go to the warehouse or anywhere else, because some people don’t really want to use, CLICK an COLLECT. ECONOMY Lockdown costs businesses and NZ economy billions of dollars per week - we are getting into debt. Protesters calm DOWN! TRAVEL!  Unfair that rest of NZ is free, only Auckland (and some parts of Waikato) are trapped.  Lockdown should be lifted so people can travel and see their whanau in other countries.

CON - DISAGREE/DON’T AGREE WITH THE STATEMENT/USUALLY NEGATIVE THINGS  Lockdown should NOT be lifted.  Delta is still in the community, you still might catch it.  We are not at 90% vaccinated yet. More people will pass away Auckland will run low on money due to Businesses being closed And no orders T There are still lots of covid cases. You can still catch covid You never know... Children under 12 are not vaccinated yet, they could still catch it, get super sick, and Lots of people don’t wear masks when they go for a walk.. Lockdown might never end?  If you're vaccinated you still can’t think that you're safe you can still get it. Lockdown should not be lifted because there can be idiots that don't listen to the dam rules…

TIPS

• Don’t focus on trying to use fancy words or put in heaps of metaphors and stuff, just write in your own words from your brain. You can always add harder words afterwards. 

• You don’t have to write your introduction first if you find it really hard. 

• Set yourself a timer challenge - 5 minutes per paragraph, see how much you can write about that topic for 5 minutes. 

• Stand up and walk around if you’re feeling tired, sleepy - it wakes up your brain.
