Samoan! (T2,W2)

This term our whole school is learning the Samoan language.
Last week we learnt how to greet each other and ask how we are.

Today we learnt more Samoan words -

sau i luma - come to the front
sau i tua - come to the back
pesepese mai - sing along
si'i lou lima - raise your arms/hands
nofo i lalo - sit down
tu i luga - stand up
fa'asaga i tua - face the back
fa'asafa i luma - face the front
filemu - be quiet

We played a game (similar to captains coming!) to help us learn and remember these words.

Pesepese mai!

We are having lots of fun learning some Samoan words and we hope you are enjoying learning them along with us!

  1. Wow Room 7! This looks amazing. This is such an amazing effort and I can't wait to see what you do in Samoan lessons next. Maybe you should come and teach some of your Samoan learning to Room 8? Malo!
