This week we had to do a narrative about sky-diving.
The first thing we did was set a goal each (this was based on feedback we got from our last narrative we did last term). Miss Ashley wrote these on the whiteboard.
Next we recorded everything we know about sky-diving, which wasn't a lot.
Next we researched the topic to get more complex vocabulary and understand the different steps involved, so our story could be more accurate and realistic.
We watched some Youtube videos - like this one.
Miss Ashley put links on the class site for us to use.
- Use at least 2 idioms from here.
- Remember your writing goal from our last narrative (look back in your book for the feedback you were given by a classmate/teacher).
- Research the steps it takes to do a sky dive, and make sure these are reflected in your plotline of your story.
- Use lots of sky diving vocabulary
Next we did our planning and then started writing!
